An Off the Beaten Path Bangkok Tour in One Slow Afternoon 🛺
⚡ Quick answer: Our off the beaten path Bangkok tour is the Hidden Gems photo walk: one slow afternoon, about 6 hours, through local lanes, quiet temples and creative corners most visitors never find, from $129 per person with lunch, water, a sunset drink, transport, entrance fees and 80 to 100 edited photos included. You could find these places yourself. It would just take about a week of getting lost. 🛺 |
Here is the thing about the real Bangkok: it is not hidden behind a ticket gate. It is behind a noodle stall, down a lane that looks like a dead end, past a cat asleep on a shrine. You can find it on your own if you have a week, good shoes and a lot of patience. 😅 Or you can take the shortcut and spend one afternoon with people who already did the getting lost for you.

🗺️ How did we find these hidden gems?
Simple: by getting lost in our own city for years. We are Bangkok born photographers, and on our days off we still wander, scout and argue about which lane has the better light. 😄 We collected so many places that we could build about five different experiences out of them. Hidden Gems is our favourite of all of them, the one we would take a friend on first.
🏆 A little history: back in 2019, before we were Walk-Talk-Photo, Mike ran his walks under the name Momentswhen, and his walks won a GetYourGuide award for being a stand out experience. The name changed. The love for these lanes did not. |

🤝 What makes this off the beaten path Bangkok tour different?
🐢 It is slow on purpose. Short, easy walks of about 5 to 10 minutes between spots, with regular breaks
🙋 You meet the locals. Your photographer is from here, so a chat with a vendor or an auntie is part of the day
🛕 Quiet temples, not queues. Colourful streets, creative alleys and hidden temples away from the crowds
🍜 You eat where we eat. A local late lunch is included
🌇 It ends with a view. A calm sunset moment over one of Bangkok’s most iconic views, drink in hand
📸 You are in the photos. Natural, candid photos of you, no awkward posing
“He even took me along the canal for a drink with some friendly local aunties and uncles.” May T., travelling solo (Tripadvisor) |
